Flame-backed Woodpeckers in Rain
Photographed by: Anirudh Vidyabhushan
Captured at: Western Ghats, Karnataka, India
In the heart of the Western Ghats, with clouds hanging low and rain falling heavy, they appeared - a pair of flame-backed woodpeckers. Perched on a lifeless tree, alive in motion and purpose. The world around was hushed, except for two sounds: the rhythm of rain, and the steady, echoing peck of beaks on bark. No calls, no movement, just nature at its most intimate. It was as if the forest paused to watch, and so did I.
At Art of Jungle, we live for these quiet encounters - when light, sound, and life align to create something unforgettable. This frame captures that gentle symphony, a fleeting duet of rain and instinct.
Each print comes with a Certificate of Authenticity, signed by the photographer, verifying the originality and value of the artwork.
